The HCP GD range are lightweight contractor pumps for on-site drainage. They are robust but easy to carry around. Their compact size means they can fit into narrow wells, confined spaces and areas of shallow water. The motor frame and seal bracket are constructed from aluminium which gives the benefit of an extremely lightweight but strong design. Uniquely, these pumps also feature a customisable discharge nozzle which can be configured to a vertical or horizontal position to suit the task. These pumps are double mechanical sealed, with silicon carbide used in the seal - this is one of the most robust materials used in pumping and guarantees excellent durability. The GD pump range are commonly used for:
Civil engineering sites for dewatering during tunnelling and ground works
Draining storm water sewers and soakaways
Pumping water containing solids
The pump's impeller is made from a special rubber called urethane which is particularly durable and resistant to rust and corrosion. HCP GDR Low Level Drainage Pumps
The GDR range are special versions of the GD pumps designed for low level drainage meaning they can pump shallow water from flat areas such as flat roofs, underpasses, or anywhere water doesn't gather naturally. They can pump down to a level of just 1mm.
