Single phase submersible grinder pump with maximum flow of 2.5 l/sec and maximum head of 23m. The ABS Piranha range are submersible shredding pumps which are particularly suited to handling wastewater containing tougher organic substances such as offal, as well as items such as plastic bags and fabrics. They are often used in remote settlements where the laying of full-diameter discharge lines would be too expensive. The pump has a 10m cable as standard.
