The Lowara HV4.220 is a three phase motor mounted variable speed pump inverter with a 22kW rating. The Xylem Lowara Hydrovar is an easy to use mounter-mounted variable speed drive which modulates the motor speed to satisfy the demand, measured by a pressure transducer. Up to 8 Hydrovar units can be connected with no additional master controller required. These controllers are widely used to control circulator pumps and pressure booster sets. Variable speed drives in general can lead to significant energy savings in applications where the duty is not constant, as well as reducing the wear on the pump components.
